Rachelle & I have been exhibitors of the Australian Bridal Fair for the past 3 years. A Mother Daughter team, we started our business from the ground up.
We are astounded at the success we have been able to achieve in this very short time. We firmly believe the secret to our success has been our association with the Australian Bridal Fair since the very beginning of JUST SAY I DO.

The Australian Bridal Fair has allowed us the freedom to work from home, acting as our shop front. This has allowed us to keep our overheads down. Access to the meeting rooms also means we can meet couples by appointment in a safe and secure environment.

On arrival our brides are greeted by the fabulous reception staff and included into the data base, which all exhibitors have access to. Our Brides love to visit The Bridal Fair as this is a one stop shop, without extra leg work, fuss or sales pressures. Further more the Australian Bridal Fair Directory Listing and distribution of our brochures gives us maximum exposure. We are able to network with some amazing people within the establishment, and our business gains so much by doing so.

Since joining the Australian bridal fair three years ago my business has grown from a start up position into a successful full time photography business with 80% of my work coming from this exhibition. I know my business could not have grown in such a short space of time without the ability to be able to exhibit on a daily basis to reach so many brides.

The point of difference when I compare this form of advertising to others including websites, is the personal contact and the ability to have our brochure handed to brides when they select our work. We, at Photography Mia, have been exhibitors at The Australian Bridal Fair since it first opened in August 2007 and have found being involved has been the best marketing tool we have undertaken. The exposure it has given our business has been very impressive with 70% of our clients now coming to us via the Bridal Fair.

Being the only permanent bridal fair means our booth is there every week of the year giving us daily exposure, something we can get from no other advertising. It also means we can update our booth regularly so that clients are able to view all of our latest work.

We are also members of the Australian Network of Wedding Professionals, which promotes us as a recommended business to trust, and this has also been invaluable.

Barbara Sisson gives us all, as exhibitors, invaluable help and advice and runs regular business seminars and networking nights to help us have every chance of success, to know more about business strategies and to make other connections in the wedding industry.
